The beachcraft theme continues into mirrors, old or new, hand painted or sanded to create an aged effect and decorated with beach items. Some are decorated with oyster shell pieces that I found on a beach near Vancouver; the whole area was covered in oyster shells - what a joy!
I also love the striking rusted driftwood piece with orange rope complemented by a long piece of rust, both are contrasted with the bright white scallop shell.
The Mirror House shape is truly unique, decorated in hand painted mini house, surrounded by driftwood and shells in complementary greys and mauves.
Stencil mirrors are hand painted using stencils that I’ve made; I use a different combination of stencils and patterns each time to ensure each mirror is unique.
