Justine’s many years’ experience as a human resources and organisational development professional have developed her coaching skills and considerable influencing skills in many complex contexts, in particular, health & social care and digital.
Values at the heart of Justine's coaching include people can change; change comes from within; exploring conflict brings discovery; we can speak our truth; we can choose our responses to events around us and be responsible for realising our potential.
To maintain and develop her coaching practice, Justine receives regular supervision and operates within an ethical framework which forms part of the coaching contract.
Justine has a BA Hons in Organisation Studies and Postgrad Diploma in HRM and for 25 years was a member of the CIPD, 10 of these as a Fellow. As well as early experience in the voluntary sector, from 2016-2018, Justine also served as a Trustee on the Board of a Citizens Advice Bureau in Glasgow.
From 2014-2016, Justine completed a Diploma in Business Coaching with the International Center for Business Coaching which is accredited with the International Coaching Federation (ICF). The Diploma focused on Psychodynamics & Transactional Analysis and included Solutions Oriented and Existential coaching. In 2015 Justine completed the Essentials Systemic Coaching Constellations with John Whittington and has been a member of a Practice Group since 2016. Over the past two years Justine has studied and practiced significant learning on applying positive thinking.
Since 2016, Justine has been a pro-bono coach with Inspiring Scotland and has coached Chief Officers and management teams of Charities. Justine has been a volunteer Speaker Coach with TEDx Glasgow since 2017.
Justine has become an expert in coaching people during transitions, enabling people to rediscover their confidence and self belief, letting go of old patterns and narratives and creating new ways of thinking. Justine draws on a range of coaching approaches as meet the needs and preferences of the coachee.
Justine has also coached successfully with a management team which enabled them to understand and appreciate differences in communication styles, to release old organisational narrative and make practical commitments for change.
